Privacy Policy
This site does not currently require accounts or collect personal information through forms.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages and sections are read, and how visitors move between pages. It is used for measurement only — not for advertising, ad personalisation or selling data.
Analytics runs only after your consent
Nothing is measured until you give the required consent through the cookie banner shown when you first visit. Until then, the Google Analytics script is not downloaded and no analytics cookie is set on your device, and advertising and personalisation signals are switched off by default. If you choose Decline, analytics stays off, and any Google Analytics cookies already present on this domain are removed.
Changing or withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer, which reopens the consent banner so you can accept or decline again. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage for this site, so it applies to the browser and device you used and is reset if you clear site data — in which case the banner will appear again. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings at any time.
Cookies used by Google Analytics
After you accept, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies on livingphilippines.com:
_gaand_ga_<property-id>— used by Google to tell visitors and sessions apart.
We have not configured custom cookie or data-retention settings, so the durations Google applies by default to Google Analytics 4 apply, and Google can change those defaults.
What Google Analytics processes
For each page you visit, we send a page-view event containing the page path, the full page address and the page title. Google additionally collects and derives information on its own, typically including:
- the unique client identifier stored in the cookies above;
- your browser, operating system and device type, and screen or window size;
- the referring site and the time of your visit;
- an approximate location derived from your IP address.
This information is not anonymous to Google: it can be linked by Google to a browsing profile and is processed under Google's own privacy terms. We do not add your name, email address or any other directly identifying information to analytics data, and we do not set a user ID.
Who processes the data
Analytics data is processed by Google as our service provider, and by us to review how the site performs. We do not sell visitor data, and no advertising or cross-site tracking products are enabled on this site.
Other tools
No other analytics, advertising or newsletter tools are currently used. If that changes, this page will be updated to describe them before they are activated.
